Can anybody who's been allocated some lubricant assignments for this weekend for the company that doesn't like to be discussed PM me the fee please. I can't seem to find it anywhere, thank you.

    You have a PM

It's going to be a busy day on the machines, surely the staff will notice something unusual with that many visits?:rotfl:

It's been a technique used before. If a MOS thinks they have a shopper they'll bend over backwards. However shop the same venue every day over a period of time with different shoppers should catch them unawares.

I'm not saying that's the motivation behind it as given the brief it could be a quality check / bit of market research rather than a service check however I know the burgers have used this before... I did same burger joint every day for a week last year, felt very sick by the end of it :(

LOL just i got a call from them about their recent wave of them.. are they any good or?? I have done car jobs with GFK etc and those were pretty good
  • Hi :)
I'm new to mystery shopping, but I signed up for GFK a few weeks ago.
Is it normal for the only jobs to come up to be Oxford postcodes? I don't live anywhere near Oxford, but they have got the correct postcode for me.

Sorry if this is a really stupid question! :o

I think the postocde is random - it says to ignore the postcode as its a call centre/email assignment

Usually those jobs are the ones that don't need you to be near them. For example a phone call or email job.

They're worth the fee. Fairly simple, report is a bit lengthy but once you've done a few it gets easier.

They're great if you can get the salesperson to cut the c**p and just give you the price without the speaking to the manager etc charade...

I quite enjoy them, can't do loads in one day though they give me a headache :rotfl: I can only handle so much hard-sell at a time...

I seem to get an allocation of these every month, I'm starting to run out of garages to shop!!
