What's a 'reasonable' price for a LON>>Miami flight?

I'm looking to book a return flight (London to Miami) in November, but coming up with £490-530 price for Virgin and more for BA.
I've only done Miami as part of a package deal, so don't know if it's reasonable. Do those who know about these things know if the price is low/high/roughly what you'd expect or there's likely to be a flight sale soonish?
Thanks in advance guys:)

If you don't like the fares now being offered, you can wait. The fares might go down, or they might go up.
Alternatively, choose another holiday destination.0 -
If you want to travel around thanksgiving, demand will push prices up.Posts are not advice and must not be relied upon.0
