I am currently inbetween jobs at the moment, therefore claiming JSA,

Today is thu20th, I was due to "sign on" fri14th (meaning I would have been paid the following wed on the 19th) but had a death in the family and could not make it to my appointment, I called the job center and rearranged my appointment for mon17th to sign on (which I attended)

Current date thu20th 00:40am, and the payment is still not in my bank, I assumed I would be paid as normal but that is clearly not the case, hopefully somebody will be able to explain what is going on.

Ring them. I had to ring up every single fortnight because every single fortnight, something went wrong. They could never figure out why.

I'd wait until the morning, my money doesn't go in until after 3 am in the morning, then ring at 9 if there is nothing in the bank

When my daughter was on JSA, she missed one signing on session as she was ill (vomiting and diarrhoea). I rang on her behalf and she had to sign a form that came through the post. She still received her JSA, but it was a few days later.
