BARCLAYS - HALIFAX Faster payments?

Hi all, Does anyone know how quickly a faster payment would go through from a Barclays Account to a Halifax Account ( I know Halifax accepts payments in this way and that Barclays can sent them, what im not sure of is whether there is a limit on the amount & time of day etc)
