Lost my Name

Once upon a time I was known as "not-so-civil". I lost my name and 1/3 of my posts.

Why "Vent"?

I e-mailed the Forum Tech almost a week ago, but no recognition nor no change. Do I re-register??

I am aware this has happened to many members but I note that some have now been "REPAIRED". NOT ME!!

unfortunately webby just hasn't got the time or resouces to fix everyone ,sorry but you could re-register which is probably the only way of becoming not-so-civil again:)

Thanks Trafalger, realised all that. But I just felt like a vent to reduce the stress!!

Some 30,000 members, I doubt they are going to take the time to recover a few missing posts for each.... Say 5 mins per person = 104 days work at 24hours per day.

Now what is a relatively easy problem to solve for ALL is the stars, probably less than 10 mins work !

Be careful with maths.

1. 5 minutes to make each change is rather a long time. I would have suggested that 1 - 2 minutes is much more realistic.

2. If it is ALL 30,000+ members, upon which your calculations are based, then there would not be a problem since we would each need to re-register. In fact, most members have never posted according to the members list.

3. If, however, as your post suggests, it is only a small number then it should not be an onerous job to rectify those members who wish to revert to their previous "names".

If posts are given, albeit wrong, why do you need stars. I thought these were only given out in Primary School.
