Post today, or wait until tomorrow?

Hello!
I have quite a few items that finished yesterday and look like they might be too big (by a couple of mm!) for the 'large letter' size, which comes into force tomorrow. I know how much they cost to post at the moment (32p as they are very light), but if I go to the post office and get a COP tomorrow it looks like it will cost me £1 each to post. If I post them into a Post Box today, with 1st class stamps on them, will they be delivered OK, even if they won't get collectged until tomorrow? I only charged 99p P and P per item!

i think they would be delivered ok if u post them today...
personally i would post them tomorrow and get the COP as ive had a few bad experiences with buyers saying items have not been recieved when they have etc... Democracy is a process by which the people are free to choose the man who will get the blame.:j0 -
Could you tape the edges a bit tighter to sneak them into the smaller size?Murphy's No More Pies Club #209

Personally I would decide how much they were worth and the risk of not getting a COP. But I am pretty sure I would have them in the box today!0

The length and width fit easily into the size of 'large letter', it is just the width which is about 27mm (the limit being 25mm!)
They are only worth £2-£4 each, so I may risk posting them today.0 -
Was listening to a local radio programme and apparently the post office are going to give a two week changeover period so that people can get used to the new charges. No penalties will be made in the first few weeks if insufficient postage is added and they will be understanding after (something about contacting the poster etc). May be a little harder for you though if you need proof of posting.
Hope this helps.0 -
I've just spend all day today in my local post office sending every thing as my post office dont know the first thing about the new system!Saving is the new spending! :A0

I couldn't get any stamps to post them yesteday, so I went down to the PO and they just squeezed through the 'large letter' gap, and I had to give them a good shove, so they only cost me 44p to post, a bit different that the £1 I would have had to pay for each of them had they not gone through!0
