You dont need to book the tour -you just turn up at the old town square at 10am by the big statue and there will be a couple of people with 'Free Tour tips only signs'
We went with the girl who had a lime Green sign and Umberella -she was very good and spoke great english
    Hope this Helps

My OH and I are going in a few weeks for a long weekend. We are staying at The Jury's Inn (I think it's near Wenceslas Square).

How did you get from the airport to your hotel? Did you just use public transport? I've heard that the taxis can be a major rip off so I'm definitely trying to avoid that option...

The segway tours look brilliant! :)

Hey, We stayed at the Jurys Inn in December. Really nice hotel We got bus/tube into town. Get a bus as soon as you walk outside of the airport to Zilcin which is the first stop on the metro. Metro for about 15 mins all the way to Florenc..Hotel is as soon as you walk out of Florenc tube station. Cost us peanuts!!
