Can someone help please???

I've had a refund offer from Lloyds today but the letter doesn't tell me how much I'm about to receive in compensation. They've also offered me the 8% in line with the FOS.

My loan was for £4000 over 5 years where loan protection cost me £781.94.

Can anyone give me a rough figure of what I should receive before I sign this acceptance letter

Thanks

i need to know when the loan started, what your monthly ppi repayments were, and how long the loan ran for, if settled early was there any ppi rebate.

once i have this information i can work out what you should get back

The loan started on 2nd february 2001 and ran for 5 years. My monthly PPI payments were £15.69.

I didn't settle early. I made the payments for 60 months.

    Cheers

the following calculation is up to the end of May 2010

    total payments made = 60 x £15.69 = £941.40
8% siumple on each payment until end May 2010 = £517.77

    total refund of £942.40 + £517.77 = £1459.17 (approx)

well done on getting your money back
