How much less would sellers prepare to accept?

I am just wondering how much less money after sellers prepare to accept from a cash seller, FTB with no chain esp if seller wants a quick sale? We have increased the second offer by 2K and hubby does not want to stretch any more, and it is quite possible for the sake of another £500, we might lose it. Also am looking for a local surveyor and got one from the yellow pages and it has MRICS iitials after his name which I have been told look for. It's Michael Charles Chartered Surveyor in Harrow. The fees for a building survey is £646.25, is that about right?

If you are having a homebuyers report rather than a full structural survey, your lender should be able to arrange it along with the valuation. This could save you money.
