Maternity Leave & Working During It

Hi I wondered if anyone could help me out.
I am expecting a baby in December and currently work full time. My day job is an accountant but at the weekends I also have a seperate job cleaning our premises.
I get paid one rate for the day job and one rate for the weekend job.
Firstly am I able to continue my cleaning job after the baby is born whilst having SMP for the day job?
Rather than have temporary help, the plan is that I will work at the end of the month to complete some tasks whilst the office in general will cover me. This will be either from home or in the office - can I work a few days a month without it affecting my SMP?
Many Thanks

You have 10 Keeping In Touch days that you can work while you are claiming SMP.
If you work a few days a month, I think the pay gets taken off the SMP pound for pound. Here I go again on my own....0 -
You are not allowed to work, except for KIT days, during maternity leave. Though you should be getting SMP or MA from both jobs.0

I beleive that if you return to one job then you do not have to forfeit the SMP at the other job providing that you worked both jobs in your qualifying week - I will double check this.:heartpuls baby no3 due 16th November :heartpulsTEAM YELLOWDFD 16/6/10"Shut your gob!
