Please can you let me know how deep landlords dig with regard to references and what kind of things would mean that you were rejected.
Thanks in advance.

We get an employment reference, to confirm how long you have worked there, if you do actually earn what you say you earn, and whether or not you are going to still be working there for the foreseeable future. Landlord reference: if you have rented before we also get one of these, did you pay your rent on time, how have you been as a tenant, did you cause any damage etc. What do you think will go on a reference that will cause them to turn you down? If we know what it is specifically that you're worried about we can try and help with minimising the damage.Scar tissue that I wish you saw, sarcastic mister know it all, close your eyes and I'll kiss you cause with the birds I'll share this lonely view.0

In that case: no previous landlord's reference to worry about! They will most likely credit check you and get an employment reference. Good luck.Scar tissue that I wish you saw, sarcastic mister know it all, close your eyes and I'll kiss you cause with the birds I'll share this lonely view.0
