Guaranteed Car Finance

Hi,

We have been looking into getting a new car (mainly due to the distance my wife needs to travel for work.)

However, we have both had some problems in the past and our credit ratings/profiles are less than ideal.

I have seen some of these guaranteed car finance website and was wondering if anyone has used them and can recommend one?

Im pretty aware that the rate of interest with them will be much higher, just curious to find out who has high acceptance rates etc?

High interest being in the 30%+ range meaning you basically pay double the sticker price.

Seriously, do not do it. You do not need a new car. I've run old MK1 Mondeos and Sierras with well over 100,000 miles on the clock which would do a 500 mile trip with no issues. I ran a Ford Capri three years ago that was doing a commute of 140 miles per day four days a week. That was a 25 year old car.

My current car is a 04 plate Mondeo with 135,000 miles on the clock. It does a round trip of 2000 miles in a week twice a year and does a round trip of 200 miles twice a week. I don't need to do anything more than put fuel in it.

I have a Y reg and its coming close to 160,000 miles and passed its MOT last week with just front pads to do. It's had the clutch and flywheel in 2009 too.

My brothers 2004 Mondeo taxi had 200,000 miles on when he sold it in march and it is still on the fleet being used daily.
