I have had a cheque from a company that has both by business name and my personal name on, will I be able to pay this into my personal bank account?

They probably shouldn't.
In reality they may - ask them.
Or if you pay it in by post/envelope in the box they may decide it's too much trouble to refuse it and process it anyway0 -

Are you self-employed trading as this business name or is it an actual ltd company?0

You could just try paying it into your normal account, you can sometimes get away with it, just dont mention anything0
