FrightFest, thanks to Revolver Entertainment., has heaps of tickets to give away for a special screening on Wednesday the 26th of May at 6.30 p.m. at the Coronet Cinema Notting Hill, in central London. The cinema is 75 yards from Notting Hill Tube Station.

FrightFest has taken great pride in promoting the rising career of Christopher Smith. We have world premiered every single one of his movies from CREEP to SEVERANCE and TRIANGLE to, now, BLACK DEATH. His talent and reputation has grown with each of his singular features and BLACK DEATH provides him with another superb showcase to shine.

In a time where poverty was rife and the Church all-encompassing, the catastrophe of the Black Death changed the power of religious influence forever. That brutal reality is expertly captured in Smith’s authentic depiction of this horrendous medieval plague. As the disease decimates all in its path, fear and superstition increase to a shocking extent and a select band of mercenaries, led by a young monk, journey to an isolated village in search of a necromancer.

BLACK DEATH features amazing performances from stars Sean Bean (THE LORD OF THE RINGS trilogy) and Eddie Redmayne (THE GOOD SHEPHERD). They lead an exceptional cast into the horrors of the 14th century: Carice Van Houten (DOROTHY), Kimberley Nixon, John Lynch, Tim McInnerney, Andy Nyman, Johnny Harris and David Warner. You never know Chris may even bring some of his cast along with him to our must-see event.
