Hi all
I'm currently looking for mortgage life insurance and an income protection plan and have looked at a few brokers. Has anyone had any dealings with Life Assure or Money World (these have been recommeded on this site) and if so how did you find them? Also is it usually best to have the mortgage life insurance and income protection plan all with one provider or two different providers?
I'm finding that being covered for redundency on the income protection plan on top of accident and sickness increases the premium siginifcantly-can anyone recommed a good provider for this type of policy?
thanks

Hi, I personally have not heard of either of those companies so I cant comment on them.
Having the same cover on one plan or with different providers is a matter of preference. If it was me I would have the cover on one plan to make it easier. There are lots of good providers who do what is known as 'menu' style plans. This is where you can pick and choose different covers on the same plan. Try Bright Grey, Royal Liver, LV, Scottish Provident. All of them are competitive and good companies. You can get quotes direct or from a broker/ifa.
With regards to 'redundancy' cover you could try LV or payment shield.
Hope this helps.I am an Insurance & Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a Mortgage Adviser, so you need to take my word for it. It usually helps to have it all with the same insurer, as you will be charged separate policy fees for each individual policy you have if you take it out with different providers. Hope this helpsI have been in the insurance industry for the past 6 1/2 years (protection products)
