My British Gas Bill
Hi there,
I recently submitted my reading to British Gas and have found out that i have used 6148.4, which worked out to be £204.79 for a 66 day period.
This is the first time i issued them with a reading since moving into the property. This to me sounds quite excessive but i haven't got anything to compare it to. Is it super high? or is this a normal rate of usage?
I'm also on their standard tarrif for single fuel as i have my electricity from the original provider of EDF. have been waiting for the full quarter bill from both to come through before deciding whether its necessary to move, EDF should be sending one through in the next few weeks.
Some property details, i live in a 2-bedroom raised ground floor Georgian conversion. The heating system is brand new with a new Vaillant boiler and all radiators in the flat are brand new.
Thanks
T

I have had a similar problem with a bill for £143 for 38 days. I was being charged in imperial units and I have a metric meter. Check your meter and then check the bill as if this has happend it has the effect of almost trebling the bill.
Hope this helps0 -
thanks for your reply,
I'll check the meter when i get home. Online they have me using 195 Imperial units.
Thanks
