    I was reading the changes thread and the spam button was only to be used when the whole thread was spam. For spams that appear mid thread, you should click on the abuse button.

    Which means twiddling thumbs whilst waiting for email proggy to open, revealing my normal "non-forums" address, etc. Don't think I'll bother.
    If they can populate an email with the post number, surely it's not beyond them to do it with an internal site communication. Other sites manage it with a PM type message.

    Yep, it's so annyoing. Most people don't use Outlook or desktop-based email programs, they use webmail, so the mailto: links on the abuse button are just annoying and non-functioning. Why can't they be like the thread Spam button and just automatically report the post without you having to manually send an email?

    Abuse button, now, works flawlessly with Gmail. I do have empathy with those not using web-based email however. :)

    Back to topic - I don't seem to be getting anywhere with my question about 7.9% interest on savings question, nor why the article still exists in its current format :D
