Yay Luc! The Bristol meet is set for 18th July, there's a thread around here somewhere for it.

Polka, I loved amytryptylene, I have ME and it was fantastic for my joint and muscle pain. I'm not allowed it now though because it's a bad one to overdose on and I've taken several in the past. I was reading on here the other day though that it's rarely prescribed for depression anymore, mainly for the pain thing. If you're not happy with it after you've given it time to kick in and the side effects wear off then you could ask to try something else. I've lost count of how many different meds I was on before finding the ones that work, but it took about 10 years! Although surely if you're hypomanic you shouldn't be on anti depressants on their own, they'll just make it worse? But I guess if you can't see a specialist there's not much you can do about it.
Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.

Do you think we're starting to sound like the Biscuit Nazi's in here - you can't come in unless you have biscuits. No biscuits...no help!

Well Mr Surgeon has okayed it for me to go away for the weekend. He had forgotten that where I am going is where he trained. Said if I'm in pain to go to the eye infirmary and tell them I'm being treated by Hans. Then started telling me all these places to see in the local area and in Glasgow. Sitting there thinking 'I'm not going there to see things, I'm going to see person. In these circumstances it may be a successful weekend if I don't even make it outside his flat!'

Other issues - Going to do a DIY SOS or something with Nick Knowles in on the south coast. We're sorting Mike's Cottage which is an incredibly long thread in DFW. The sort goes from about June 9th - 18th, with the reveal on 18th. My intention is to go for the painting and wallpapering so about 14th-17th. I have a Race for Life with friends on 18th. People seem to think I'm mad for not staying for the Big Reveal but my friend I'm doing the Race for Life with will be disappointed and is about the most special friend I have. She let herself into my house while I was post-operative recooperating at my aunties and cleaned the kitchen. She is an amazing friend.

I would welcome views. Just pretend you are Virginia Ironside.

Why is it some people on MSN never leave you alone, constantly doing two or three word lines, and the people you want to talk to are never there?

Also, am watching Death Race and not even five minutes in and I rewind to perve on Jason Statham. Damn, if I ever met him.....
