Today is my second day on the DFW board :o wish I'd come here sooner. I did my SOA last night and La Escosea (sp?) suggested the small things thread, so here I am-sorry, no biscuits with me.

Welcome Polkadot! Don't worry yourself about spelling my name - it means Scottish in Spanish btw - mostly go as La or La Es on here :)

Today my list is looking like this:
    • Found 50p
    • Compiling/finalising wedding list!
    • Grabbed a tin of fish from the cupboard to have for lunch (with toast – already have bread in work)
    • Post last ebay package and check for feedback on other packages that should arrive today – I stoopidly didn’t get receipt of postage as they were all large letters and I had large letter stamps…eek.
    • Enjoying my daily free cuppa :D
    • Still looking into storage spaces and seeing what size we need/can afford every month
    • [STRIKE]Really try to have an NSD and keep the remaining £20 I have in my purse for the weekend [/STRIKE] Just remembered about posting the ebay thing. Boo, no NSD for me.
Fay - are you feeling ok? Your list is far too short!! :rotfl:

Catch up later tonight when I get back from work.

Thanks La Es, Im sure Ive seen you about before as I remember the spanish/scottish thing. Was a bit depressed earlier as Ive asked my questions re the overdraft and not had any answers yet, but then I looked at posting times on some of the other threads and realised most of them are made later in the day :D
Went to pick DS up at nursery and was given the proofs for his photo's , the cheapest one is £13 AND they want me to choose between 5 different poses:( They're all so cute so I guess I'll let DH make the choice.

Hi folks, its my day off today and i had a lot planned but I have a shocking head so have rearranged / cancelled.
DD got a new cream from dermatologist, put it on for the first time last night but woke up at 2am with burning , think it an allergic reaction so got her in shower to scrub it off - waiting for GP to ring now with advice.

    Today I have / will :
    • checked online banks - no change, payday in 8 days
    • meal from stores / plan
    • rare NSD
    • HC x1 - dry on airer , we have no sun and it is cold
    • cath up on sky +
    • Pack ebay parcel that should have gone today , now going tommorow :o
    • Quick tidy round
    • Surveys - £1.50 so far
    • Competitions
    • Not going out now so saving £15
Have been offered a small , nearly new tumble dryer for free. It will come in handy for emergencies and winter but a little worried about running costs. If i hide it in my spare bedroom i might forget about it :o
When it rains look for Rainbows
When its Dark look for Stars
  • Afternoon

Hope all goes well for tomorrow Millie

    Hi to Polkadot and welcome

Well still waiting for insurance check, drums fingers on table impatiently:o

    Today I have

Returned dead, passion flower plant to garden centre and swapped for another climber, no passion flowers; that would be coz they probably all died.:(

Coffee with friend who took me there (not very dfw, but as a bit of a thank you to her for all her help):p

Cooked chicken and salad from asda
    Checked online banking
Will ring friend whose daughter has had op; today using minutes on phone
Photocopy and post statements for police
Sort though paperwork bag and burn all the stuff not needed.

This will have to do for now as most of the day has already gone;)
My finances are work in progress.
    Normal veiwing will resume shortly

Aw ta for asking actually I wasn't feeling very well this am - hence the short list I'm kinda hoping it was just something I ate IYSWIM:eek:

Polkadot - can't you scan the photos? That's what I use to do - the nursery folks do these as money-earners - its a bit naughty really.

    £13 is alot of money
