Boots - Sanctuary reductions and GWP Glitch

  • I rang CS to ask why it was in stock when I ordered but I still didn't get it and was offered points, which is fine - but it wouldn't have happened if I hadn't rung!

BTW I had "partially dispatched" emails which is how I knew it wasn't being sent.

So as long as peeps have a normal dispatch email, they should have their GWP with no problem.

    Ok thanks :)

I've just ordered myself the collagen serum as a cheer up because I've had sinusitus for about 6 weeks now! Slightly off topic, but have you had it for ages too? I know quite a few people suffering with it at the moment.

@ monkeygirl31- what time did you order the starter kits? I've been looking on and off throughout the day but it just says stock coming soon for me!

I went in store and bought the things. Got fed up of waiting for the bits I wanted to come into stock only to find the vanity case oos

Ha ha! I did the same today. I got 2 lots of gwps and used my skinnie to get one of the time delay wrinkle reduce creams. There were also lots of sandwiches reduced to 75p so i had quite a nice little haul for under £20. Treated myself to soap and glory sit tight with some of my points too. I'm keen to see if that works! I might cancel the orders I made yesterday, I don't want to run the risk of them not sending the gwps.

Picked up the Sanctuary Mosituriser with SPf15 today for £5.88 and got the pamper case. That's 2 I've got now and hopefully a 3rd delivered to store this week. Handy for presents (and of course one for me).
    If I had known then what I know now . . .

Have just been into Boots at Merry Hill (about 10ish this morning) pleading ignorance and asked the cashier to scan 1 vanity case and 2 bottles of facial wash for £2.93 each to see if the case was free. No said the cashier, you need to spend £10. Then she looked at me in amazement. Oh it does work she said. 5 mins later there were none on the shelf. I wonder why(not me I hasten to add) and well done to those who got one. :D

  • Thanks for this. I thought I might be too late. I initially thought it was online only, and wanted in store.

Went in store today, and bought:

    2 x Cleansing Facial Wash
    1 x Protective 24-hr Moisture Lotion
    2 x GWP

I was going to split txn in two (i.e. two facial wash & GWP and the moisturiser & other GWP separate), but the SA threw me a bit by putting my other txn through separately (which I was going to use to dampen the impact of a coupon on top of the deal), so felt this would just draw unwanted attention to the deal by only having a £2 odd spend for such expensive products for one of the txns.

Ol' cheeky chops that I am decided to be true to form, and say I'll just try to put through my £3.00 MOC (that I got with a Christmas gift - gold bag, I think).

However, the £3.00 MOC seemed to make the moisturiser price jump from £5.88 to £7.38. I'm unsure why.

I went to check price, and asked another SA to double check. It was meant to be £5.88 on SEL and was also scanning at £5.88, so she kindly refunded me the £1.50 difference.

I got points with the transaction, and I also got a £5 skincare voucher.

    Pretty chuffed with this.

Boots at stafford retail park had about 20 of the vanity cases!

I managed to resist as I already have 2!

Got two cleansing face washes and gwp in Bath yesterday. They ad a few of these, toners, and some other bits and quite a few of the GWPs left. Will make a cute little gift! Also I checked inside the case and there was no coupons etc in case anyone is keeping them as pesents.
