I'm not sure what this is but when i click on search results from google or type in a url sometimes the page doesn't load and i am redirected to ask.com and in the search box is the URL i typed or click on. I updated and did a full scan using malware bytes but it didn't find anything. This is really annoying and I think its also slowing down my browser.

I also get the error cannot display webpage sometimes.

There was a problem fixing those last four O16 from the hijackthis.

Shut down your anti virus
Follow the simple instructions it gives
Post the COMPLETE log it creates (Split into sections if need be) ~ if there are loads of 'SNAPSHOT' pages then leave them out

If it comes up with a RENAMING error then RIGHT click the exe file and RENAME and call it QWERTY (Making the complete file name 'QWERTY.exe') Or SAVE as 'QWERTY' on download

Thanks I'll do that now. It seems to be going even slower today with more 'Internet Explorer Cannot Dispay the Webpage' and I even noticed at one point i completely lost internet and had a yellow triangle.

Could this be because I unplugged my router a few days ago then plugged it back in?
