My name is Oliver Nash. I am the author of The Primate Puzzle
It is a 250pg childrens adventure story set in Borneo (illustrated for free by Bethannie Cunnick).
I've spent 5 years working on this project & raised £3796 for Great Ormond Street Hospital for Sick Children (who saved my life in 1984 and have cared for me ever since). I am trying to get this book to as many CHARITIES that deal with sick children, survivors or adults with learning disabilites (as I've worked as a support worker for the previous 2 years). I would allow the charity give the Ebook away to anyone they deal with.
I have been working on an audio book version which will be finished within a month (this will also be available for FREE to any charities, hospitals or schools). Please get in contact via facebook, theprimatepuzzle, twitter, my website or this site - Money Saving Expert. The book is suitable for anyone aged 8-80 years old. It highlights the problems Borneo faces through deforestation (for palm oil plantations) and poaching whilst hopefully engaging children in an adventure story, encouraging them to learn more about the enviroment and putting a smile on their faces. If you know anyone who works at a charity, PLEASE let them know about this book. I would rather get a positive message out there and possibly raise some more money for GOSH than not!
Kind regards,
Oliver Nash author & long term out-patient at GOSH
