    Piccys look good Lyns

I'd love to be good at sewing/crafty type things. I want to try my hand at some salt dough decorations for the house next.

I'd like to see the photo frame. You should go for total home made Xmas - start sewing the tablecloth and napkins now, and make the crackers out of toilet roll holders etc. :rotfl: I want to see how you come up with a 6ft Xmas tree though.

I just cant get the machine to thread cotton and do more than half a dozen stitches - its probably as much an operator error as anything else but I would like something a bit more user friendly. I have visions of making my own clothes /dazzling creations  . Machine destructions say I need to hold the bottom thread to the left and move the needle thingy with the top thread until it catches  . I dont really get it as you can probably guess.

Its not Windows being a bit overprotective of your computer is it? I think I had a similar problem with installing Quicktime or something and I had to turn off the pop-up blocker and turn the security settings down a notch while it installed.

    QUOTE]

My mum always makes her own crackers... they always look a million times better than the shop bought ones and she puts in little presents specific to the person who's name is on the cracker... so if you win or loose if the cracker has your name on then it's yours! Little cheap things like stamps or lip gloss or lighters from the pound shop

The bangers don't always bang... and has become a bit of a family tradition to shout 'bang' when you are pulling one!!! Happy days!
