Excel help pls

Hiya

Wondering if someone can help - I have several spreadsheet set up but i am now unable add any text/figures to any of them!! So seems somehow i have managed to put a lock on without knowing ( Microsoft office excel 2007)

I can tab up/down/left/right - but nowt else... Any idea what i have done... and more importantly, how i can fix it!!

At the bottom where it says Sheet 1, Sheet 2 etc.

Right click, Protect Sheet, unclick stuff in there.

Might do it.

Thanks for that - though didnt work! Though i think i have sussed what it is - I have never entered my product key, and reading up about it after 25 uses it goes to reduced functionalilty with key.

Easy to sort then... No! Says my product key is invalid, triple checked it & still not accepting it!! Arghhhhh

I personally found 2007 edition of office(word and excel) difficult to use.I was compelled to install the previous edition even in a newer PC. If it had been earlier version, i could have help.

Thanks anyway. Looks like i only had a trial version of office hence the invalid code.

Although i thought i had been using excel for a while on this PC - it would appear it was only works spreadsheet id used when setting up a few. In my quest to be mortgage free i have recently downloaded ss from MSE which are office excel, hence now the problem.

Looks like i can legitimately buy a copy from software for schools at a very reasonable price - So will have a look at that tonight
