Wacom Intuos4 Graphics Tablets

Options
Anyone know a reliable a reasonably priced place to buy a Wacom Intuos4 graphics tablet from? I'm looking for the medium wired one at the moment. Best price I can find at the moment is £265.25 inc delivery still trying to find reviews about the site.

Found it cheaper on eBay and at another website mentioned in another thread, but they both had awful feedback.

Anyone got any recommendations?

Thanks,
moneysavingkitten

Seen it much cheaper with a quick Google but the highest ranking site I have used before has it for £174.50

    PIXMANIA
  • How did you get on with Pixmania? Some people seem to think they are okay, but they seem to have a lot of bad reviews. I have found a £7 discount voucher for them though.

All the results I can find in Google shopping sub £300 for the medium seem to be the same guy setting up multiple websites and listings. I think unless I get it from Pixmania I am going to struggle to find it for less than £300.

Pixmania (in my experience) have been fine, I've placed orders and received the items in accordance with the delivery. No problems at all.

I have bought a 37 inch LCD TV, a Surround Sound system and a couple of DAB Radios (not all at the same time) from Pixmania with no issues

People have problems with returns. I have never had to return anything so I have no experience of that.
  • Thanks for your reply. Pixmania sounds okay really then. I'm having second thoughts about the tablet now though! There's a 50 odd page post in the Wacom forum about the nibs wearing down in hours :/

I guess I have to find out more about that and work out whether it's worthwhile if it is going to need that many spare nibs! Seems quite mad, my last lasted 8 years!

  • Not sure on cost, but I can highly recommend the tablets -The graphic designers at my place swear by them
