dont worry about it.
if one of your discs cracks / shatters you have 3 other brakes to rely on. if you have a posh car you might have rear discs too, and if its very posh it'll have abs. all you need to do is look out for the abs light. you'll be ok. plus, discs are expensive, at least £20 a corner. Not worth spending on, the chances of you not being able to stop and end up killing someone are still quite low. happy motoring!0 -
Get a second opinion from a reliable mechanic and only replace if necessary. I doubt kwik fit even have the tool necessary to measure the thickness.dont worry about it.

£20 per corner plus labour is far too much unless it needs doing. If it doesn't need doing it works out at exactly zero per corner.0 -
