child tax credits - renewal - pension contribution's .. please help ..

hi , ive just renewed our tax credits and they would not deduct my husbands pension contributions .. my husband pays tax , national insurance then his pension is deducted .. if his wages say £1800.00 a month , he would pay tax and national insurance on that £1800.00 .. his pension payments per month are £74.75 ..

im lost and very confused .. please help ..

if his wages say £22.000.00 ..

my husbands pension payments this tax year have been £890.34 ..

Is his salary paid into a pension that was set up by his employer? If so then that amount is taken into account in his p60. Any items deducted from his payslip are already taken into account by HMRC.

If he has a private pension set up, so he gets paid and then himself makes a contribution from that pay then those deductions will be taken into account.

hi , its a stakeholder pension .. when he gets his wages say £1800.00 .. 1st thing to be deducted from his wage slip is tax & national insurance .. his pension payment is the last thing to be deducted from his wages .. p60 does not show any pension contribution's .. my husband pays about 5% of his yearly wage towards his pension , so if its £22'602.00 per year he gets payed , he will pay 5% of that towards his pension scheme .. his p60 does not show any of this ... my husbands p60 will show his wage figure of £22'602.00 .. my husband has agreed to pay a sent amount of £75.00 per month ..
