Aviva Elevating Athletics Fund Competition - Terms and Conditions
•
To enter this competition you must write a 150 word explanation ('Nomination Explanation') of
why your school deserves to win the £10,000 Aviva Elevating Athletics Fund and an athlete
PE teacher for the day by filling the form on aviva.co.uk/athletics. You must also provide your
name, e-mail address and telephone number.
•Entry into this competition is free. No purchase is necessary.
•Entry to open to residents of the UK and Channel Islands, including employees of RAC, Aviva
Group, their suppliers and associated companies, who are aged 14 or over. Entrants who are
under 18 years of age must have the permission of their parent or guardian.
•Only 1 entry per person.
•The Nomination Explanation does not need to be athletics related.
•Entries must be received by midnight on 31st May 2010.
•Entries will be judged by an independent person on 1st June 2010 where a winner will be
chosen based on their Nomination Explanation.
•The winner will be notified by phone or e-mail no later than 4th June 2010. In the event that
there is no response from a winner within 3 days, an alternative winner will be chosen.
•The first prize will be a £10,000 cheque payable to the school chosen by the winner for a PE
facility make-over. 10 runners-up will win an Aviva GB & NI team athlete to take a PE lesson
at a school of their choice.
•The prize is non-transferable and no cash alternative will be offered.
•The judge's decision will be final and no correspondence shall be entered into regarding any
matter in connection with this competition.
•The winner will be required to participate in post-event publicity.
•Responsibility will not be accepted for lost or delayed entries. Proof of uploading will not be
accepted as proof of delivery. Entries that are altered, illegible or not in accordance with these
terms and conditions will be disqualified.
•In the event of unforeseen circumstances the promoter reserves the right to withdraw the
competition entirely or change or substitute the prizes with another of equal or greater value.
•The promoter is Aviva UK.
•Aviva UK reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions without notice.
• Entry into this competition is deemed acceptance of these terms and conditions.
