2 payment protection plans

My job is under threat of redundancy so i have been checking to see what my mortgage payment protection plan entails. I have just discovered I have been paying for two, one with Abbey and one with Paymentshield. am I entitled to claim for both these if I am made redundant?

I am really no expert but, if you had your car insured twice and it got stolen,would you expect to get paid out twice?
