United Kingdom Consumer Survey Warning

Yesterday I had a phone call from a Mary Powelel (? Her spelling, not mine) from the United Kingdom Consumer Survey (?) telling me I had to complete a mandatory survey. I asked for the company address (2 The Sanctuary, London, funny I thought that was a health spa) and the name of her manager (Ruby Marchant) and a variety of other details which were clearly lies. I kept this woman talking and getting more and more confused for about 15 minutes asking her loads of questions which she struggled to answer, presumably because she was struggling to come up with lies for answers. She finally hung up when I started questioning why the survey was mandatory, like the census.

Anyway, I thought I’d share as others may get similar calls.

If anybody rings me wanting to "ask me a few questions", my stock response is "WE CHARGE FOR REPLYING TO SURVEYS". Note "we" not "I".

You'll be surprised how quickly they want to terminate the call!

no survey is mandatory - not over the phone anyway.
I did get a call from these pillocks a few days ago and gave them my stock answer 'I do NOT do surveys over the phone'.
and put the phone down.
