Kitchen fitting

Options
We have had a quote to take out our old kitchen, level the floor (which has a big slope in it) and fit the new kitchen including laying the floor (not including cost of whatever floor we choose). This also doesn't include electrics which will be a separate quote. It has come out at £1880.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Sorry I think there are about 7 floor level units and 4 or 5 wall units on one side only. the appliances are staying. the room in ototal (including the eating area) is about 20sqm.

it does include tiling and any plumbing - but i wouldn't have thought there would be any really since the sink and appliances are all staying the same place. the breakdown i've been given is:

£1200 for taking out old kitchen, fitting new one and tiling
£450 for raising the level of the floor and then sorting out the door and threshold
£230 for laying whatever floor we choose

the electrician has also come back quoting £430 for putting in 8 downlighters without the cost of the lights - that seemed like quite a lot to me.

No ones having your pants down there, not expensive and not cheap. If they're coming from a recommendation and you have seen their work id take it.
