    Do check the salt content in your butter. I have found that the cheaper-priced butters nearly always have a much higher salt content...........

    no cheap Anchor at my Asda don't know why (looked on Tuesday) they had lots of Anchor 500g but £2 not £1.14.

    That's because Willow is not butter, it's a "traditionally churned spread". Or to be exact, it's

    Vegetable Oils,Buttermilk (29%) ,Water ,Skimmed Milk ,Cream ,Salt (1.7%) ,Emulsifiers (E471, Soya Lecithin) ,Flavourings ,Vitamins (E, A & D) ,Colour (E160a)

    Have to say that the vegetable oil listed as the first ingredient has always put me off :o Yuk!

    Just had a look online in prep for the weekly shop and the Anchor is now £2.00 for the 500g block - £1.00 for the 250g. Must be that the 'Rollback' has been rolled umm....back again :rotfl:
