Cheapest block butter

Hi anyone know which is the cheapest 500g block butter at the moment in the supermarkets I have, within driving distance, Tesco,Sainsbobs,Adsa, Morrisons and Aldi's I want to stock up a bit and will put it in my freezer for baking later on this year:)

Asda has 500g blocks of Anchor or 500g tubs of the Anchor spreadable for £1.14, I've stocked up

Cheapest butter is 84p at ocado then 85p at js and tesco and 88p at asda, dont know about shops like morrisons, lidl, aldi and co op/somerfield0

Could be wrong . . . it does happen sometimes :rotfl: but the Anchor at Asda is £1.14 for 500g - aren't the others 250g blocks? If so the 500g of Anchor is still cheaper than the own brand smaller blocks . . . yes?

JackieO i've just been to Sainsburys and they have they Anchor pack of butter for £1 special offer at the minute
