Thanks M8, missed that, but the nub of the two part question was ref : O/S x86 or x64 ?
- this .. .. so that if he / she was to attend to the NVLDDMK.SYS issue we could point to the correct driver and cleaner s
- I'll leave you to this thread KillerWatt, if I had the problem to fix I'd start with sorting / proving / dis-proving NVLDDMK.SYS. The fact of the matter by now is there will have been so many new driver installs and partial / abrogated removes it's going to be a mess of an O/S.Disclaimer : Everything I write on this forum is my opinion. Right guys,
Have tried, wiping nvidia off the computer as much as i can inc. manually searching for files and folders, using reg cleaner and driver cleaner but no luck.
Since Dell are useless once the warranty has expired and want to know nothing i'm looking for a graphics card that will give me comparable performance to the 8800gt but is still relatively affordable (under £90). I'm thinking 9600gt or 9800gt?0
