It only costs £5pm to subscribe and that gets rid of the adds also if the subscription is cancelled it reverts to a full free account with the adds

Aside from a normal member giving out an invite, (which I'd presume is a long long long list!) does anyone know how else you'd get a membership? is it anything to do with legnth of membership or certain links or anything?

I got the unlimited account when I joined and it was free. However this was a month after Spotify launched, so I suspect thats why I have it.

There's a 7 day free trial to Spotify Premium available at the moment. You have to have Spotify account obviously, you will need to enter card details, and make sure you cancel before the 7 days are up (or you will be charged monthly).

And before people ask, no I don't have any invites.

You can also cancel straight away, and you get to keep your 7 free days.
