Thomas Cook

I just wondered if anybody could give me advice....

Long story short, I had £100 of Thomas cook vouchers, me and my friend decided to go on holiday this august to Turkey, my friend didn't want to go with thomas cook because it tends to be more expensive then other places, anyway because I had this vouchers we went with Thomas cook.

We decided to book online, on back of vouchers it states they can be used online, before booking online we spoke to one of those help people on one of those chat things similar to msn, who assured us if we paid the deposit online we could then go in shop and pay outstanding balance and use the vouchers as well.
We booked it then and there.
All was well.

Then I went into a Thomas cook branch where it took me ten minutes to get a assistants attention as they were both too busy discussing the weekend with a lad who was also in there, finally got there attention and was told (as if I was stupid) as I booked online I couldn't pay balance in store.
I then asked about the vouchers, was told I could send them in, they were next to useless telling me where too, eventually giving me a number that would "probably" tell me.

That number didn't tell me. They then gave me a number after a nice 15 minute wait someone got me a address.
Sent the vouchers via special delivery (£5.05 for a envelope, while I realise it was my choice to pay special delivery and not asked of me by Thomas cook I'm just having a quick moan about that too)
anyway they were recieved next day.
3 weeks later they still hadn't been added to my balance, which by now only had the final £100 outstanding.
I rang them, couldn't get through. Sent a email via there help centre, just a response to say leave it longer.
3 weeks later the final balance is due in 2 weeks, so again I start questioning it. About 10 emails sent and about 2 responses.
I'm asking questions about what if they don't add them on by payment due date.... And although replying, not answering any questions I have.
Finally I get a nice lady who acts like she's trying to help.
She tells me I sent them to wrong address (the one I was told to send to) I was advised they have got them, just not put them on account.
My due date was on 10th. I sent them 8 weeks ago. I have now recieved a letter saying if I don't pay final £100 I will be liable for cancellation costs and my holiday will be cancelled.

I'm fuming. They've told me they have them, if they know they have them, why haven't they credited them?
I sent them 8 weeks before due date and now they are threatening to cancel my holiday
my emails are ignored, I can't get through to speak to anyone
I was told I could go to shop to pay, then given the wrong number, then given wrong address.

I don't know what to do from here, am I over reacting? Who can I complain too?

Grrrrrrrrrrrrrr

ok that was my vent lol.
I'm sorry if my grammar and sentances and spelling are off, on my iPhone and not the easiest thing to type something this long on!

ABTA would be a good stop and could get this solved very quickly. if it comes to it, i would pay up, get a written statement of them admitting they have the vouchers, then write to them recorded delivery to refund your £100 you had to pay extra or you will take them to small claims.
    Back by no demand whatsoever.

Sorry, I'm not sure what ABTA is?
