Cordless drill battery

Afternoon folks
I've got a cordless drill, non-major brand, and the battery is starting to not hold its charge.
I've googled the make, and got nowhere, and was wondering if all these type of batteries were the same, as it looks exactly like:
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Performance-Power-Pro-PWR18VGBA-Battery-Batt-18v-volts-/120560056600?cmd=ViewItem&pt=UK_Home_Garden_PowerTools_SM&hash=item1c11f07918
My battery states this on its label -
DC 18v 15 NiCd Cells 1.2Ah
Should I be looking for exactly the same, or can i run with a higher Ah ?

Main thing to worry about is that the voltage is the same, and it fits. A battery with a higher Ah rating will last longer so no bad thing. For every complex problem there is an answer that is clear, simple and wrong.0

That's a second-hand battery- probably being sold because it won't hold its charge either..
You can buy another no-name drill for under £25- probably better to do that.0 -

OK, so getting another battery is looking the least likely scenario, so what's a decent cordless drill ?Baby-Mechanic

There's a fair chance that if you can open the plastic case without damage you'll find some fairly-standard NiCd cells in there, which you can replace from CPC, Maplin, etc.A kind word lasts a minute, a skelped erse is sair for a day.0

I've opened it, had a look, and there's tidgey welding involved to replace them, which I'm useless at !
Is there a metal to metal glue/adhesive type 'thingy' that would 'weld' the metal together ?
And before people mention it, I probably have no idea what I'm talking about, but it's my world, I like it, and if people want to join me ........... :jBaby-Mechanic

What brand of drill have you? That battery you showed is B&Q special
I think the whole drill would only cost 20 -30 quid0 -
You can rebuild the batteries if your handy with a soldering iron and screw driver.0
