Camera is boxed with manuals, cd's, cables, battery, battery charger, shoulder strap, 18-55 lens

I have been offered this for £200, it is so i can mess about with it and get into photography.
Since i know nothing about SLR's or infact cameras at all, is this a good deal and a good started camera?

    I have the same camera, a good starter camera as has all the functions you could want without being too confusing. 200 is a good price I think perhaps knock them down 20quid if you can.
