Depends when you take it from...
My last loan was taken out 3 years ago..no cash AT ALL for car for change of job
The one before that, 3.5 years ago.. transfer credit card to loan (as I had done once before and run the card right up again) - got told in no uncertain terms they were cutting my card limit to £500 and never putting it up (and they stuck to it)
So probably 3.5 years, when I was earning 35k and had £70 a month after dds.
Basically I had to get more cash coming in. Which has meant a few years of lots of long hours, travel, living out of a suitcase. And a sickening spell last year after I lost my job totally.
Now, it's time to get the hotel weight off, and rebuild friendships. To feel I have a home again. To be able to choose less money, more life.
And to pay off my mortgage - because I won't feel safe and secure until I do.Debt free 4th April 2007.
