G E money (G E Bank)

Some while ago Martin recommended G. E. Money credit card. I, and many of my friends and family applied for this and ALL have been knocked back as we did "not fulfill our criteria". In that rejection letter they say they will write to inform you of the reasons behind it. They never did. They give an address to which you can write to appeal but they have not replied once. ARE THEY ARE BONA FIDI BANK? or could it be a scam to obtain our personal/bank details? Anyone else met with this??

They are genuine. I've got one. And so have several other people on the forum - do a search for it. However, they do have really strict acceptance criteria....

GE Money is part of GE Corp one the largest comapanies in the world. They issue Asda credit cards. Many store cards are also issued by GE they are the dominant store card issuer in the UK. So in answer to your question they are just fussy but are honestly a bank.
