Heart shaped leaves, tall stem, small white flowers. I have too many in my border for them not to be weeds
I am sure one of you lovely people will know. Thanks!

Don't know its name, but I have never seen anything spread as fast as this plant. I think it arrived in my garden in a packet of wildflower seeds. Suggest you pull/hoe them all out, or at least whip their flowers off before they get a chance to seed. That's if you don't want them, that is.0

It looks like garlic mustard from the pic but I am not sure. Put it this way some are unmistakeable but some plants look similar in pics. Latin name is Alliaria petiolata if you want to google for more pics.
I had a look on wikipedia for pics to compare it to

Hi Van 1971 - can you tell me how you got your photo to appear in your post please as I want to add a picture to my post? Did you use Pohotobox or something similar?0

Garlic mustard is not a weed. Of course the concept of weeds is a personal thing but I think invasive and annoying is my definition. Garlic mustard is largely a plant of hedgebanks and I was glad to see it establish in my garden for the first time this year. It's not particularly invasive except in the USA where it was introduced. You can even use it is salads though perhaps it's not terribly exciting. Anything which isn't overtly invasive is welcome in my garden.0

linni ~ load your picture onto Image Shack or Photobucket, copy the direct link and then come here and in your reply box click on the little square at the top that says 'Insert Image' and paste the link in there. :beer:0

Well, it's gone now. I bet it will come back :rotfl:0 -
If this is the same as I have growing, it's probably not garlic mustard as it doesn't match the description in wikipedia linked above. Mine is an annual, doesn't form clumps, and doesn't smell of garlic. Never gets taller than about a foot either (pass me a ruler and I'll tell you what that is in cms)0

to tell the difference between a weed and a flower: -
"if you don't know if it's a weed or a flower, pull it out.
If it doesn't grow back, it was a flower";)0
