Your post just demonstrates your misunderstanding of your insurer's risk!

Very aware that they are covering the risks of other people, cost of injuries/ compensation that would need to be awarded to third parties in an accident (which can cover millions of pounds). also covering the costs of any normal business in the forms of bad debts however driving 4000 miles a year in a 1.1 litre car having driven for four years without any accident does not justify paying £1000 third party fire and theft insurance.

P.s. do you not think that insurers have insurance on their policies?!

had a crash about 2 years ago, not my fault. And my saxo (£500) was written off. At the time i knew i wouldnt be able to replace the car for less or the same and was incredibaly angry at having to pay premiums circa £1000 so decided those twinges in my neck were worse than i first feared. total payout was about £3100 after insurance company spent 6 months cocking about.

    Driver + 2 passengers = £££££££

possibly a bit late now though

    Thats why.:T:T
I like the thanks button, but ,please, an I agree button.

Will the grammar and spelling police respect I do make grammatical errors, and have carp spelling, no need to remind me.;)

Always expect the unexpected:eek:and then you won't be dissapointed

You also forgot they have to pay out on inflated and fraudulent claims like...well on the face of it, Spadoosh's. Imagine if we all tried to make a profit on our insurance, the whole business would go under.

I dont understand.... how do you think that you shouldnt be compensated when your put in pain and a large amount of your time is taken up by the carelessness of someone else?! And again when did it become illegal to do this?!

How is it fraudulent? im entitled to every single penny that was awarded. before you all start working out your own theories do you not think they looked into this first. they dont like paying out at the best of times yet found no problem with my claim!

The phrase is 'you decided' - not that the twinges were actually worse, you just decided they were.

    That is the illegal bit.

Of course if they were actually worse and you were honestly described your symptoms for the insurance claim, fair enough it is not illegal. In this instance you just have very poor phraseology (I don't think you can sue for that though :().

And it's it's not too late to get bitten yet. Try doing it again.
