thanks. i have been following various milly threads myself. I have ordered the bm dress from there but stuck with shop for my own. was too close for comfort for me. (4 months to go.. just over!)

They seem to be getting back on track in teh last week or so but they did have major probs around CNY

  • Hiya, i've ordered my milly dress through 'your wedding dress for less' (dot) com. I know a few people who got their dresses this way and loved them, you pay a bit more than ordering from Milly direct but they're UK based and Neta who runs it is really helpful.
I know what you mean magicgirl, it is quite daunting especially as they're making my dress from scratch - I couldn't find a dress anywhere that matched what i wanted - but i think it makes it all the more exciting.

wil you lety me know how your dresses turn out?

i gathered they were struggling after CNY so was pondering the idea of re checking the threads for them until next year-im not ordering till then a while off yet lol then will wait till maybe summer so they enough chance of recovering from cny and also summer weddings hoping they get bk on track as have seen some lovely dresses they have made and cant justify spending thousands on one lol

Ordered my 2 wedding dresses (Vera Wang & Pronovias style) + 5 BM dresses (Monique Lhulier style) and 4 FG dresses from Milly in January. Recieved dresses last week and wedding is next week.

Order EARLY and be prepared to be patient. If you have nerves of steel and lots of time go for it. The workmanship is great and everything fits great (apart from the BM that messed up her measurements).

Only intend on getting married once but for the price I paid and the result, I would do it all over again as long as I ordered well in advance. The stress had me in tears at many points as I thought they wouldn't make all dresses in time and post them out.

The lead time was delayed by an extra 5 weeks and that was cutting it majorly fine in my case.

that site doesn't exist but myweddingdressforless.co.uk does and its a partner with milly so its still the same.
