Contribution based JSA

Hi, I've had a quick look but can't find a previous post regarding this; I've been approved for contribution based JSA and had a payment into my account. But it's for £56.10 instead of £65.45 (I'm 30 btw). The claim was from 4th May, is this correct? I've never claimed before so I have no idea. Thanks

you may have been paid for part of a week, how many days after your initial claim have they asked you to sign?0

That might make sense actually, I went in on the 4th (I called and got jsa interview on the same day, and they asked me if I wanted to start my claim from the 4th which I did) but the 3rd was the monday which was also the bank holiday....Do good deeds and you could raise the curtain, do good deeds and you could really raise your life....0

You'll have been paid from 3 days after the 4th (first 3 days of claim do not get paid) to 3 working days before the payment hit your bank. If you're still on JSA at your next signing then you'll get the amount you're expecting next time.Bought, not Brought0

Thanks Bamber, and Nannytone too. Like I said, I've not claimed before so am a bit clueless when it comes to this sort of thing
