System Changed?

Hi,
I sent my renewel form for tax credits off 3 weeks ago as soon as I had my p60. I recieved a letter confirming the amounts for 2009/10 but I seem to remember for the last few years I recieved my new awards at the same time but this was missing from this letter! My awards have gone up - since the amounts I recieve have changed but I haven't got the award notice yet! Have they changed the system ie sending out seperate letters for awards and final year decisions or is my poor addled brain playing tricks on me?:o

Hi , i did my renewal over the phone on 29th April and by the following week i was able to see that my payments had increased slightly .

At this point in time i am still awaiting my award notice to arrive in the post !

Its been almost 3 weeks now .

Everything about the renewals system seems "different" this year for some reason...

I was wondering if they were waiting for the "Emergency Budget" just in case the new government changes anything! But I can't see them being able to change T/C immediatley! Well I hope not !

I certainly hope they arnt planning on making changes !

I rely on my tax credits lol.

Im not too fussed about the award notice (just yet) as long as my payments are going into my bank account.

If i remember correctly they HAVE to issue you with your paperwork within 30 days though .
