on a £100 shop you might on average get 70 items save
    10p per product = £7 a week ~ £28 a month
    20p per product = £14 a week ~ £56 a month
30p per product = £21 a week ~ £84 a month (or in other words one weeks shoping at the new price)

Well the shopping is done and almost all put away. Drew out £60 cash to cover it (no card for me today) and I have change :) And I would have had more if I hadn't had to go into Mr T's. Damn that shop!!!!

Hopefully we wont starve for another week now, and my wages are slowly creeping up, even if it is only by a few quid, so hopefully things wont be quite so tight for us next week, no credit card bill or water bill to pay then. My bank balance feels very sorry for itself this week :(

Hope everyone is well, Butti I hope your eyes feel better today.
SRM: glad to hear the mini made it back in one piece, my dad just sold mine last week, so sad to see it go even though I havent driven it in well over a year. :(

    Love to all xxxxx

Still semi-lurking but thought I would come and say hi!

Nothing much new with me, house purchase still ongoing, still not running as much as I should be, love life still a disaster, but generally, life is good. :)

Hope everyone has a good day. x

I'd better shift my arris now and clean up the disaster zone that used to be my kitchen!! Then Fish Finger sandwiches for lunch...yummy :)

    Morning.

Butti, I'm glad you're feeling so much better.

I've got my book club this evening, other than that I'm going to go into town to do some OU work. I heard from the tutor yesterday, he was on leave when I contacted him and he assumes I've done the assignment and to send it in and he'll mark it. No 'sorry' anywhere, and it was still written in text speak. Anyway, because I didn't hear from him I haven't done the assignment but I can get it done in the next few days. Anyway, rant over...

Squizz, he is, although I'd use the word arrogant. But I've never met him, just had the one line email from him this weekend.

Bugger, my idea for a social enterprise is already being done by someone else. Back to the drawing board for ideas of what I can do to be self employed then.

Squizz - Yes I'm feeling much better thanks....still a bit wobbly at times but have just been out for a 4 mile walk - not something I could have contemplated last week. :D

The sun was glorious out there today - forgot my sun cream tho so didn't dare take my cardi off, could do without the dreaded heat/sun rash.

Got some strawberry plants to sort out later but need another cup of tea before I do anything else.

Branston beans are on offer in Lidl at £1 for 4 tins if anyone's keen on them - we love them so just loaded the whizzy wheels up with 16 tins :D

    Glad you're feeling better Pooky.

I'll pass on the beans, I've still got 6 tins from when they were on offer at Morrisons a few months back!
