Hi,
I recommend taking a passport if possible. You dont need one for Ireland, but in practice it can help avoid problems with airlines that require ID at check in. I travel with my passport even on domestic flights.
Have a look at the airlines that you are going with. See what they say about ID, print it out and take that and the documents it recommends if you dont get a passport.
Good luck

better get in quick with your application as they are jacking the prices up soon to take into account the new 'biometric' information that 'needs' to be on it!just in case you need to know:

Hi,
If it had of been Ryanair I wouldnot give them any excuse, but Flybe are a far more helpful airline. I dont trust Ryanair, but I wouldnot mind a job in there Legal department. Job for life!!
Print the copy of the website out, and take that with your travel documents and driving licence and you will be fine. As you say it clearly says Domestic and Republic of Ireland are fine with a valid photo Licence

I know:rolleyes: My boyfriend just got his back, luckily before the price rise, and it's got exactly the same info on it apart from a bit of copper wire and a metal square at the back!

Hi,
Dont bother, unless you plan to go abroad later on. Taking a photo of a 2 year old will be fun and games
