First Direct Black to Gold to Black

This is probably a bit cheeky, but my husband and myself have just converted our black First Direct Credit Cards to Gold. Has anyone else done this, and six months later asked to transfer back to Black? If you have did they give you another six months interest free? This would be really neat, if you could just keep transferring between the two cards and get another six months all the way.

There have been other threads about this and yes it does seem to be possible. They have closed the loophole that allowed you to cancel one card and then apply to open an account opening bonus, but you can still play the transfer game.

I guess they might get round to closing the loophole at some point though, so don't rely on it for ever.
