when my computer is idle for lets say 3 mins i have to keep entering my password. think its some new download from windows

Start > Control Panel > System and Maintenance > under Power Options, press Change what the Power Buttons do > select 'Don't require a Password' under the Password Protection on Wakeup option > click Save Changes > close window
