Thanks to the fabulous ladies that run the thread.

I'm in again and am not going to go MIA this week. DH is away to Morocco Wed to Monday (ash allowing) so I need to be organised. GCSE and A Levels are now just a week away for DD1 and DS1. Hormones and emotions are running high.

DS3 celebrated his birthday on Saturday. We took 10 of his friends bowling and to the eat all you can chinese. It cost a fortune but they all ate their own bodyweight so I do feel we had our moneys worth.

DH doing school run:D. Going to shower and wash my hair. I'll be back at 10am for a HHC if anyone cares to join me?

Monday ~ Kitchen and Dining room
    Level One
    Declutter and mop/vacuum floor

    Clear and wipe work surfaces
    Level Two
    Wipe units and large appliances
Give one small appliance a good clean!
IF YOU ARE ABLE!.. pull out a large appliance and clean behind and under it!
Clean out the fridge thoroughly.. and check the drain at the back!
    Level Three
Wipe the table, replace the cloth if needed and dust and deweb!
Clean doorseals, filters and deterrgent drawers
Oven and hob to be scrubbed
    Extras
    1. Wash the windows!
    2. Empty and wash out bins!
    3. wipe over the woodwork
    4. Clean lightshades/fittings

Gotno.... there are so many worse things to bring into the world than a baby.. She will have a focus once baby gets here.. she isn't giving up her dreams, she is just not living up to yours.. this might be what she wanted!! Nothing you can do or say really just offer to lend a hand, ear or other body part should she need it!

Cycling.. It might not be best for her to be on the pill, DVT's are always a worry when inactive.. that is why they tell you to not take it if you are going in to hospital for an operation!!.. and it's the last thing she would need.. I would be concerned about the consultant wanting it TBH, is it a 'quick/cheap/easy fix' rather than looking at the real issue? It could be that it would be less of a problem if she was more active as the movement helps evacuate the body, catch 22 really.. Does the GP know DD's circumstances best or does the consultant??

I have been up anddown all night coughing and snotting.. think it is just the hayfever playing up but i feel rather grotty.

KH hasn't bathed the small girls this weekend nor has he brushed their hair.. he made DD2 (12) do their hair.. If he cannot be bothered to wash or brush them then he can't have them stay over. DD3 (9) wets the bed and is hormonal so you can imagine!! As he brought them back after 8 last night I didn't have time to bath them so they have gone to school smelly today... besides which it absolutely kills my back leaning over to wash their hair. How can he not have had time to bath them between Friday night and Sunday night??? I usually do them Sunday morning when I am not so tired and they are not having to be rushed into bed... they pretty much do themselves now anyway!.

    I may build a list..

This morning so far I have decluttered children to school, the remainder of my galaxy and the last 6 coconut rings.. and turned the TD on.. :D..

    Debt-free and Proud!
Morning all, In again this week - thanks to the lovely trio/quartet for inspiration and help. Will be back later with a progress report (have very little to report as yet - bed's made, that's all).

Thanks everyone for running the thread and the support

    Huge hugs for gotnodosh

Not sure what to do at the moment. I want to go for a run but am a bit sore after all the walking. I must tidy the house (ash permitting we have a visitor from Thursday) and I would like to go for a potter round the garden centre who have a silly offer on bedding plants.

I have to have low blood pressure for lunchtime as I have my check and I WILL NOT take tablets or get refused contraception yet again . Flopping on the sofa till lunch time and then getting someone to carry me to the dr's is probably the best bet :o

Whilst I think about what to do I had best get the WM and DW on.

Had an email from a colleague at 6.30 this morning... sitting on the tarmac, flight delayed. I think he's gone now... contingency plans are currently being made, so I still need to sort out the presentation as I'll be delivering it online if I don't travel. Need to get hold of the guys in switzerland though as they seem to have gone very quiet!

Greenbee - hope your flight's delayed/not delayed (pick the one of your choice) as appropriate. My local airport is suffering because of the ash this morning. DD is due to fly to Spain for 4 days on Thursday so we're hoping that the ash will have blown away by then.
As someone said, the important thing is that everyone gets home OK... it would probably be good for me to do the trip and get it over with, but I could do without the distraction/stress...

Sounds about right... keep thinking calming thoughts too :D

Must put some washing on, get my email functioning, have breakfast then go and plant some stuff in the garden in case I have to travel...

    morning all

I seem to have managed to find a comfyish combination of pillows in bed which stops me fidgeting too much, so apart from still needing to get a blackout blind I slept ok. DH still asleep, would suit me if it's for another hour or two as I am catching up on casualty from the sky box.

we're off work today for the final day and are going out for a bit of lunch at the greasy spoon and then up to london at teatime for the opera! I will do the kitchen later, and possibly put another wash load on and I must do the online shop to come tomorrow. must find my little extras list...

AnW - I think ZCC was saying that she's staying with family at the moment..but I might be wrong!!
